A Crash Course on Brush Pen Letter with Risha (@rrisha). Have you been wanting to learn how to create pretty letters? Well you're in luck -- in this crash course we'll cover how to properly use a brush pen to achieve the beautiful thick and thin strokes seen in popular letter styles. You'll practice writing words with your newfound skill and take home a Tombow brush pen and guide sheet to continue your practice post-convention.

Learn more about the world of travel hacking—the craft of maximizing frequent flier miles and credit card points to earn free flights and accommodations. As a doctoral researcher, Bryan Dosono has flown to over a dozen countries and visited 25 states on a student budget, and has compiled a number of travel hacking resources for students and recent grads to experience more on their next trip with less.

What does it mean to step? What does it mean to stroll? What are their origins, and how do we, as an Asian-interest organization, pay our respects to the multicultural organizations that created stepping and strolling? This workshop will provide a brief context into the historical development of stepping and strolling, and will provide a platform for sisters to discuss what stepping, strolling, and performing mean to them. The presentation will also have a basic stroll workshop to help you and your chapter get a jump start on your annual performances, competitions, showcases, and more! Hosted by Chairwoman of the aKDPhi International Foundation, Kathleen Dumlao Lee (UIUC alumna). Kathleen (Kat) Dumlao Lee will walk you through the do's and don'ts in looking for a job. You'll walk away from this session with takeaways on how to build a strong resume, networking, making that great first impression, and what to do when you have that job offer in hand!

Kat has been in the HR profession for over 12 years and holds her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification. Starting out her career as a recruiter and currently functioning as an Sr. HR Business Partner at Motorola/Lenovo, she understands the struggles of finding that perfect role and uses her experience of being on the other side to advise and help others through the job search, job offer, and benefits processes.
